A personal beginning
My mother passed away unexpectedly from cancer. She had managed many of the family finances, but there was no clear central record of everything my father would need.
In the months that followed, we spent countless hours trying to piece things together — pensions, insurance, banking, accounts, contacts, paperwork.
It was stressful and frustrating at a time when our family was already grieving.
I kept thinking: this should be easier for families.
The Family Record was created so others can avoid that confusion and have one clear, private place for the information their loved ones may one day need.
